Funding Your Cashwise
Funding Your Cashwise
Are you a user in Nigeria or the United States? Here are the steps on how to fund or add cash to your Cashwise wallet:
On Cashwise, you can access your primary wallet, which holds the currency of your primary residence as determined when creating your Cashwise account, and other wallets holding currencies of countries where we operate.
This means you can access a USD wallet if you are a Nigerian user. And if you are a user resident in the United States, you can access an NGN wallet.
How do I add cash?
Step 1: Log into your account and tap on ‘add fund’ on the wallet you want to fund.
The varying options available for funding the wallet you tapped on will be displayed, which includes the option to ‘fund with other wallets’ - swap (currency conversion)
Step 2: Follow the instructions on your preferred funding method to ensure your wallet gets credited instantly.
To fund your NGN wallet through bank transfer, please note that local NIP transfers from any local bank in Nigeria through a banking app or USSD to the account numbers generated on Cashwise will automatically be added to your Cashwise NGN wallet.
How do I link my bank account to Cashwise?
As a Nigerian user, you cannot link your bank account to Cashwise. Cashwise gives you access to multiple Nigerian bank accounts linked to your Cashwise NGN wallet for easy funding.
On the Cashwise app, you can access bank accounts by completing your KYC and generating NUBAN from your preferred Nigerian bank.
